An Inconvenient Truth
I have not seen this film as yet although I plan to. It is a signifier of the time that a film like this has been made and put in the public eye, and to good reviews as well.
The changing weather patterns are becoming increasingly noticable that brings home the fact to me that where I live is also now being touched by this and will be more severely in the future.
I am not interested in politics but this is as much as anything a moral rather than political film.

Re: An Inconvenient Truth
Do you work for Al Gore? Isn't that "it's a moral issue" line like straight out of the movie?

Re: An Inconvenient Truth
A few thoughts with the current unprecedented floods in my country-
Now I think even to say this is a moral issue is wrong; I don't even believe that the changes are caused entirely by polution alone. So I don't see it as so much an issue but a foreceful reality. It has a stirring affect of removing peoples' sense of comfort, distrubing the way of life as well as destroying huge areas. People are angry variously against the authorities, against Nature even...at the Creator. So it is more than 'Inconvenient'.
