Cache

Hello everybody

Just wathced 'Cache' in the cinema. Clever, powerful and shocking! Has anyone seen the movie? The director's name is Michael Haneke. I haven't seen any of his other films and would like to watch them. Which one should I start from? I would appreciate your advice if you are familiar with his work.

Re: Cache

Hello,

My review of Cachè is here: http://www.cinemaseekers.com/Cache.html

Michael Haneke is a talented director, who unfortunately has developed a predilection for incredibly dark cinema. Cachè represents one of his most restrained efforts. Let us hope he continues on the path towards spirituality.

My best,
Gregory Pearse

Der siebente kontinent
Benny's video
71 Fragmente einer chronologie des zufalls
Funny games
Code inconnu
La pianiste
Le temps du loup
Caché

Caché is indeed Haneke's most interesting film. The Austrian Trilogy is also very interesting but probably very hard to find.

Many thanks for the link to your interesting articles and thanks to Chris Kelvin too. I've also watched Tsotsi. The final scene in which Tsosti raises his hands and surrenders is incredibly beautiful.
