"Christ in Cinema"

Our "Christ in Cinema" mini-site is up now www.cinemaseekers.com/Christ, but a couple of links are still non-existent.

Re: "Christ in Cinema"

This is great and I'm glad to have read it. I hope the recommended reading section, for one, is put up soon.

The Pasolini article is especially good. I had a feeling that Gibson would go over the top, but I still think he's a genuine guy.

Re: "Christ in Cinema"

Thank you. Gibson is definitely genuine in his conviction. That's what is so tragic about it - remember that saying about the road to hell being paved with good intentions. Good volition does not protect from catastrophic mistakes, only the hard cold facts contained in the Knowledge of Creation do (as you know, since you seem to be familiar with the Laws of Creation). In a manner of speaking, Gibson is convinced that the earth is flat - so convinced that he decided to share this good news with the rest of the world. And so long as people refuse to delve into the study of the Laws of this Creation, they will continue to believe in whatever makes them feel good about themselves: be it the idea that their salvation has already been secured by the crucifixion or that they can carry on discussions about the evil governments and corporations, feeling themselves to be sufficiently spiritual (while not having the faintest idea about how the inflexible Reciprocal Action of the Law unfailingly delivers to us precisely that which we deserve). It is ironic that while these discussions are going on, the reality of the situation is that everyone's fate depends to a very large extent on how they stand on the issue of the crucifixion. This is because we have all lived on earth during the time of Christ and have in one way or another contributed to His murder (if only through our indifference towards His Message). If the same indifference continues to the present day and the cold hard fact of reincarnation along with all the other Laws is relegated to the area of "spiritual, unproved theory", then the individual is leaving himself wide-open for the returning effects of his past misdeeds to hit him with unmitigated force.

You, who have stumbled upon this site, have a unique opportunity to possess the Knowledge of the Self-Acting Laws of Creation and to thereby understand the origin of all evil (instead of carrying on endless discussions about it). This has now been made doubly easy for you, since several chapters from the Grail Message of Abd-ru-shin are now reproduced on our "Christ in Cinema" site along with the writings of people, who have studied these Laws and learned how to apply Them to life to clarify troubling contemporary issues. These are not the Laws of any religion, but the extensions of the Laws of Nature (it is the same Knowledge that Christ tried in vain to convey to us through parables). The objective examination of the strict logic displayed in these writings will prove that to you. This is the most practical thing (from the earthly point of view as well) that you can do to prepare for the times ahead. If you do not wish to put in the time and the effort, the day will come when you will recognize this as the greatest mistake of your life.

The page on "High Art Cinema and the Legacy of Christ" has now been posted.
