Yes, we certainly agree it's a great film. One of the greatest! We thought very hard about our experience with it and conveyed our impressions in the review called "GODFREY REGGIO'S "NAQOYQATSI": A REQUIEM FOR HUMANITY" at http://www.cinemaseekers.com/Reggio.html
The review begins, "In the whole history of cinema there have been very few films, of which it can be said that they are essential, that they hold deep significance for human beings. This is one of them. Through the mere act of watching this film humanity divides itself, as each human being reveals the very state of his soul by his reaction to the film. The film itself remains above reproach, untouched by the reaction of humans, because it is the work powerfully inspired and guided by the Light at this critical time in our history, the End-Time."

Everything I see and hear and touch seems to be corrupted or chaotic now, and everything I thought I knew or believed in is crumbling. If I were now to see an atomic bomb dropped before my eyes I wouldn't turn to run, nor shield my eyes, nor stare in horror at the destruction occuring before me and the recognition that these are my last fleeting thoughts, for I would only stand motionless and solid and I would be unconcerned. I would see beyond it. I do not know whether this is madness or seeing the truth.
I am sorry about any aggravations I'm responsible for here.
